ADP Employment Report Shows Payroll Up 162,000

The ADP employment report shows that US nonfarm payroll increased 162,000 in September. Compared to last year, payroll is up 2,172,000 and it has grown 3,803,000 since September 2010. The more expansive BLS employment report will be released Friday and, based on this data point, looks to be at least nominally positive.
